Moira McHardy passed away in 2009. She was the devoted Mum of Alister and Dianne, a treasured member of Newport Parish Church and loved throughout the community. Everyone who knew Moira loved and admired her.

Moira's Christian faith radiated from her. She was a great woman of prayer and utterly faithful to her Lord. She was a Church of Scotland elder and led a popular and happy HouseGroup. Moira was one of the cornerstones of the WebChurch, praying faithfully for people from all over the world, week after week.

Moira suffered from Marfan's Syndrome and endured many years of serious health problems. Moira never allowed her condition to hold her back. She was always game to try new things and was an inspiration to everyone she met.
